1. What This Reference Is
Laguna Niguel Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, and historical collections associated with Laguna Niguel and Orange County, California. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with City Hall, a county department, a state agency, a court, a library, or another records custodian.
2. Rules for Lawful Use
Use the pages and anything reached through them only for a lawful purpose. You may not:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm a person
- Use information to locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act
- Make a decision regulated by the FCRA, including credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or housing decisions
- Scrape, republish, or copy the pages at scale

3. No Consumer Reports
This reference is not a consumer reporting agency as that term is defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 and following. Nothing on these pages, and no result returned by a linked search service, is a consumer report. It must not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
4. Outside Links and Tools
County and state portals, libraries, archives, courts, and sponsored search tools maintain their own terms, prices, availability, and privacy practices. Laguna Niguel Residents Directory does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, interruptions, or data handling.
5. No Warranties
The reference is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that a page, fee, office detail, record description, linked portal, or search result is accurate, complete, current, or available at every moment.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of these pages or a linked resource, including a decision made from a record found through them.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from a claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, that arises from misuse of the reference or a violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable copyright law. Linking to a page and quoting a short excerpt with attribution is permitted. Reproducing a full page or systematically copying the content is not.
9. Changes to These Terms
A new version may be posted by replacing the text on this page. Continued use after a revision means that the revised terms are accepted to the extent permitted by law.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited when a user violates these terms, abuses a search tool, threatens the service, or interferes with its operation. Restrictions may be imposed without advance notice.
11. California Governing Law
California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000 and following, describes public-record disclosure by California agencies. California consumer privacy rights are addressed in Civil Code §§1798.100 and following. Those statutes do not make this private reference a government custodian or a consumer reporting agency.
12. Severability
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The invalid provision will be applied as closely as lawful to its stated purpose.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contact page. Record requests and corrections must go to the office that holds the underlying record.
